The Development Of China's Professional Basketball The Main Impact Factors Research

The national men's basketball meeting was held in Beijing in October 1995, during which the"Interim Regulations on the Athlete Transference of China's Basketball Association"and the"Interim Regulations on the Clubs"were put forward, and this raised the curtain for the professionalism of China's basketball. It is unprecedented under China's socialist market economy condition, and will have profound influence on the development of China'basketball as well as the flourish of China's economy. Following the rapid development of China's social economy, China's basketball professionalism has not reached the anticipated objective yet. Therefore, it is necessary to deepen the investigation and study on the new thing, and explore the contributive factors in order to promote the development of the basketball professionalism constantly.Objective of the study: this paper examines the current situation of China's basketball professionalism through literature review, contrast and comparison, mathematic statistic, and questionnaire investigation, on the basis of which, the operation principle of the completion as a merchandise is analyzed with relevant theories of economics. In addition, according to the experience of NBA's successful development, it probes into the contributive factors influencing the progress of China's basketball professionalism and aims to provide some theoretical foundations for its smooth development depending on the real situation of the country as well as the basketball.Main results of the study: the factors that Influence China's basketball professionalism process are multiple, but it is essential to distinguish the nature and importance of those factors in order to focus on the main factor. This paper maintains: 1.our country's current economic environment and basketball sports level are basic factors influencing the basketball professionalism process, and they determine the existence of basketball professionalism project; 2.constitutional factors, ideologies, regulation construction, media and club itself are the factors that control and serve the professionalism process, which affect the scale and speed of professionalism development. The first type is a realistic foundation of the professionalism process and can not be accomplished overnight but can be changed step by step. The second type should be based on the first type and implement the policies and measures suitable for itself, neither sticking to the outmoded practice nor occidentalizing blindly, and finally open up a basketball professionalism road with Chinese characteristic.
