Cooperative Learning In Junior High School English Teaching Organizations In The Research

Cooperative learning, as ateaching strategy for classroom instruction and classroom management, is used in awide variety of teaching contexts, English teaching reformation has achieved a lotduring the process of competence diathesis education reform. However, manyproblems still remain to be resolved. Cooperative learning as a breakthrough andcomplement against traditional classroom instruction is widely applied in theinstructional design of English course for school. Being introduced to the Englishclassroom teaching, the method of cooperative learning leads to good results ofEnglish teaching. The ability of cooperation and communication has been much moredeveloped than ever before. Cooperative learning is actualized in the classroomteaching so that the cooperative, competition and collective glory of the students makea progress.This thesis first explain the rules of English courses, then give the briefintroduction of the theoretic bases, types of study, the basic factors, then after analyzethe present situation of the English teaching in Middle School, point out the necessityof the cooperative learning which enriched the theory or English teaching. Then Ianalyze the general characteristics of English education, the teaching process and theassessment methods. The teaching aims will be achieved by the cooperative activitiesin groups. At the same time, the cooperative consciousness and communicative abilitywill be strengthened. At the end of thesis, the author reflects on somemisunderstandings that might occur when applying cooperative learning to Englishteaching in Middle School.
