"A good principal leads to a good school", a principal in middle school andprimary school is the "leader" and "sole" of our primary education, whosedevelopment in specialization restricts the schools' development and progress. Aprincipal needs to have a strong professional spirit and practice it during the schoolmanaging process in order to follow the requirement of the development of thedaytime, the education, the school progress and the specialization of principalsthemselves. However, the vagueness in the definition of "professional spirit" anddeficiency in middle school and primary school principals' professional spirit in ourcountry make it ambiguous in the composing of principals' professional spirit inmiddle school and primary school. On the basis of concluding the relative documentsand many experts' outcome, the article studies on the definition and composing of"professional spirit", through the methods of document-searching and contrast-studyand then deduces the composing of the middle school and primary school principals'professional spirit in our country, which means the spirit of the professional workerswho indulge in the school managing work as principals and is the embodiment ofsocial spirit and individual spirit, according to the middle school and primary schoolprincipals' professional character and the requirement of their basic professional roles.Three parts are included in the composing(1)the principals' professional recognition,which is embodied by the professional vision and professional attitude and reached bystarting an undertaking, respecting the calling and being engaged in the enterprise(2)the principals' professional feeling, which is embodied by the love and honor fromthe principals to their occupation and reached by the affection to the occupation andthe happiness to be engaged in the occupation (3)the principals' professional will,which is embodied by the principals' professional sense of responsibility anddiscipline and reached by their diligence and incorruptness in occupation. Throughmaking a contrast of relative rules and studies in both in and abroad, we propose someadvice to improve the middle school and primary school principals' professional spiritin our country.
