The research aims to find the problems and barriers in kindergarten's curriculum development and analyze the reasons that trigger the problems, thus to provide some useful advice to kindergartens on their curriculum development.The research investigated the information from 7 kindergartens and made interview in deep with the teachers. The research found the problems of kindergarten curriculum development from several aspects such as the teacher's ability, the degree of the teacher's participation, the understand of the curriculum and so on. The problems found in the study in the kindergarten's curriculum development are as follow: teachers are not familiar to their own kindergarten curriculum; teachers are not fully participated in the whole process in curriculum development; the leaders have not gained a clear acknowledgement on teacher's ability and the structure of the kindergarten is still in chaos in a certain level.According to these problems, the research analyzed the situation and make supposed reasons for the problem. Connected with the theory of influence factors of curriculum reform of Fullan(1982) and the analysis, I found several reasons in the investigation. The reasons are as follow: teacher are have not high concern on curriculum development; the trainings do not have significant influence to enhance teacher's ability; curriculum plans are not deafly enough and some extra factors such as the expert's participation are not enough and strong competition existed among kindergartens.Finally, the suggestions are as follow: to enhance teacher's understanding to kindergarten curriculum and boost their enthusiasm in curriculum development participation; the kindergarten curriculum development should consider the market as well; to construct the co-workgroup in curriculum development; kindergarten curriculum should be systematic and the curriculum plan should be clearer and could be executive.The research provides some information for the theory of kindergarten curriculum and support and helps the kindergartens to the practice of curriculum development. It helps kindergarten to solve the problems they met or will meet in the development process according to their own information.
