Chinese is the most important communication tool, and an important part of human culture. The characteristics of Chinese education determine that the teachers should pay more attention to gradual influence and respect the students'unique experience during learning process. The author who teaches Chinese in one of secondary vocational schools of arts in Shandong Province lays stress on the feeling experience of students and makes remarkable success.Reading teaching is an important link in Chinese education and communication process among teachers, students and text. This process that interposes aesthetic education can lead to active thinking and rich feelings. Aesthetic education that is an important part of Education for all-round development, which was placed on the agenda in 1990s, is valued doubly by Secondary Vocational Schools of Arts. These schools are professional colleges aiming at fostering art talents. It is significant for the students to strengthen aesthetic education, foster all round development of morality, intelligence and physique and improve the ability of finding beauty, understanding beauty and creating beauty.The thesis expounds the reading teaching goal in secondary vocational schools of arts and the significance of aesthetic education from the meaning and traits of it. It points out that aesthetic education is deficient, through the analysis of the present situation in secondary vocational schools of arts, because of teachers, students, teaching methods and mediums. According to the situation, the thesis puts forward some practical tactics combined with the Chinese reading teaching in secondary vocational schools of arts. It expounds from four aspects. First, the teacher should be given free rein to their leading role in order to stimulate the students'aesthetic interest. Second, the teachers make full use of the text and find the aesthetic link point. Third, the teachers should have a perfect command of aesthetic education forms according to the traits of artistic specialization. Finally, the teachers had better use the multi-medium technology to strengthen the effect of aesthetic education. The thesis concludes that the Chinese reading teaching situation can be changed on the basis of obtaining aesthetic enjoyment. It can also embody the unity of humanities and tool nature of Chinese course through aesthetic activity. The educational goal of fostering qualified art talents in secondary vocational schools of arts can be realized.
