Mobile phone reading is overwhelming at information age, to some extent, it has even become an indispensable way of reading. Because of its promotion, the number of reading people has increased rapidly. The generation of secondary school students, who grow up at this information age,of course, are also under the influence of mobile phones and other new media. Based on some of the pros and cons of mobile phone reading itself as well as the influence on the secondary vocational students’ Chinese teaching, the research thinks that secondary vocational Chinese teachers also should keep pace with the age, seize the advantage of mobile phone,the high-tech products, improve the occasion to make mobile phone reading play a positive role in the teaching and learning of secondary vocational students’ Chinese accomplishment. Taking the secondary vocational schools of Chun’an region as the object of empirical study, investigation and analysis the characteristics of the current mobile phone reading and the mobile phone reading in secondary vocational schools, the present situation, problems and reasons of secondary vocational Chinese reading teaching and the secondary vocational student’s extracurricular reading, and put forward the application on the basis of the key advantages of mobile phone reading itself, to explore how to use mobile phones to read in secondary vocational Chinese reading and extracurricular reading teaching,should play the role of reading guide, prevent students from the negative effects of cell phone use too much at the same time, in order to find a new pattern for secondary vocational Chinese teaching in practice and the secondary vocational student’s extracurricular reading. The ultimate goal is to correctly guide the secondary mobile phone reading, to improve the reading ability of secondary vocational school students, in order to stimulate their classic reading interest, to develop their good reading habits, to promote their culture and literature accomplishment.
