With the gradual popularity of secondary education in china,the number of the students admitted to the senior high school is increasing, the diversity is more obvious among the group of students, especially for the maths. If ingnoing different levels and abilities of the students, and applying continuously the same methods which meet with the same demands from the same teaching materials, this activity can't fit the whole student. Regardless of the diversity among the students, without carrying out the principle"suitable instruction to a student's level", we must be faced up with the polarization of the students, which is bad for the full development of the students. It leads to the heavy burden for the students in learning and psychology,and the teaching quality can't be improved completely. Therefore, to meet with the demands of the state council about quality education and improve the quality in teaching completely, we must reform it on a large scale. The teaching according to different levels is necessary.To adjust to the demangs of the quality education, strengthen the maths teaching in senior high school, and solve the various problems brought about by the traditional maths teaching, the paper does research and proves through practices on the maths teaching, mainly exploring the theretical foundation the principle that should be went by and the adopted strategy about the teaching on different levels in senior highschool.The paper contains seven parts: Partâ… ,introduction introducing aiming of the background of questions arise the significance of teaching research and the methods of research and dividing the main conceptions.
