| Becoming a new curriculum, general technology curriculum is a historic breakthrough during the 8th elementary education curriculum reform. Compared with other curricula, it is based on practice with the properties of design and operation learning. Because of its unique curriculum characteristics and objectives, traditional evaluation ways will not be suitable for it. Since general technology curriculum entered into the experimental stage, general technology teachers as well as the public often mention and concern the issue that is "How to Test" in general technology curriculum. Summative evaluation can not be avoided at present and in the future during the advancement of general technology curriculum. Summative evaluation plays great guiding and stimulating roles in the implementation of general technology curriculum. If evaluation contents, methods and so on have not been fixed, the implementation effect of general technology curriculum will not be estimated.In the light of current situation that the research on general technology summative evaluation is at an exploratory stage, this dissertation probes into the evaluation ideas; based on general technology curriculum properties and objectives and within the "2 x 2" evaluation framework, it designs and divides the evaluation contents into five sections and then puts forwards three evaluation methods(paper-based test,technical work appraisal and technical test appraisal); it analyzes the trend that some experimental provinces and regions gradually embody general technology curriculum in their programs of general college entrance examination and designs "pyramid" style model of summative evaluation implementation as well as "channel" style model of summative evaluation activity; based on these suggestions it proposes five safeguard mechanism for general technology evaluation implementation. |
