In our country, conclusive assessment in IT curriculum is facing the puzzle brought by provincial examination that based on the examination by computer. Teachers, students and researchers are all doubtful of the examination by computer and the test questions designed for it. At the same time, the IT curriculum are included in the entrance examination to the university which will be carried out for the first time since new curriculum carry into executiont. This is a significative event in the IT curriculum history. Meanwhile, it is a great challenge to IT curriculum.After understanding the basic idea, the assessment ideology and method of the 8th curriculum reformation on basic education, by research, the author summarized two problems that should be worked out to ensure the conclusive assessment could resolve the dilemma and be well prepared for the challenge. The first problem is how to carry out the conclusive assessment according to the principle of just and fair. The other problem is how to design test questions in accordance with three-dimensional objective. To resolve the two problems, the author analyzed the conclusive assessment on IT curriculum (Informationn Literacy) of England, America and Hongkong. Benefitting from their experience, the author comes to three conclusions. First, comparing with examination by computer, we can better carry out the conclusive assessment on IT curriculum based on the examination by paper, if test questions are of high quality.Second, test questions of high quality should embody three principles, processing, human-based, and according with three-dimensional goal.Third, the assessment objective of feeling, attitudee and value must be and can be well achieved.
