For this, the researcher using the methods of literature survey, expert advice, mathematical statistics and so on, start with the present situation of the high-level college sports teams of Jiangsu province, taking the core competencies as the angle of view of the research to set up the index sign and evaluations system of core competencies of the high-level college sports teams of Jiangsu province. The conclusions of the research are as follows:1 The evaluation index sign system of the core competence of the high-level college sports teams is constitute by sports teams training competitiveness, the competitiveness of the athletes, coaches, the competitiveness of the sports teams the competitiveness of the race, team logistics support the competitiveness of the five first-level indicators and the specific breakdown of 23 second-level indicators, this evaluation system can evaluate the core competitive of the high-level college sports teams.2 This evaluation system will provide new theoretical basis for competitive advantage of high-level sports teams of Jiangsu Province. According to the actual situation, timely adjustment evaluation index, it will also provide new ideas for other colleges.3 This research only do a simple evaluation index system model of the core competitiveness of the high-level sports teams, this is the first time using the core competitive as the edge research perspective on high-level college sports teams, some concrete work still needs to be further strengthened and improved, at the same time according to the specific circumstances of the various colleges, properly adjust the evaluations system, to establish a more reasonable the evaluation system of core competitiveness of high-level college sports teams, and rational and effective quantify and assignment of the index, and finally it will be able to evaluate the core competitiveness of high-level sports teams of the colleges.
