Therefore, as the imp ortant part of the sports industry, the good development of sports events is of great sig nificance to the development of sports industry in our country.CBA, as a representative of China's more successful sports events, has made great pro gress in the development of more than 20 years. But CBA and other events organizati on in our country are similar to the problems encountered, which is lack of their core competitiveness and develop slowly in the market. In order to deal with the phenomen on of CBA, we should actively learn the experience of successful operation of foreign advanced sports events. With 60 years of development and exploration of its own uni que core competitiveness, NBA is the world leader in the organization of the basketba ll tournament. Thus, it is positive to the development of CBA for analyzing and learni ng the core competitiveness of NBA.In this paper, based on the theory of core competence to make comprehensive analysis, we transformed the research object of the theories and views, to build the core competitiveness of the NBA tournament evaluation index system. Research the core competitiveness of the NBA targeted, systematically and scientifically. In the process of evaluation index system of building, concluding the core competitiveness of the important indicators for NBA games, we introduce the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, selection of indicators into the indicator system of fuzziness and uncertainty in measurement. Through combined with analytic hierarchy process,fuzzy hierarchy comprehensive evaluation method, by adopting the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, we analyzed the core competitiveness of the NBA tournament. The core competencies of the NBA games are mainly institutional competitiveness, method of periodic competitiveness, market competitiveness,competitive and other competitive economic method. We analyze the five index factors, and get the influential results.In view of the background of our country, we get some enlightenment b y learning from the NBA's core competitiveness which is to build our local C BA event: The professional basketball market operation shall comply with the r ules of the development of basketball itself also should conform to the marketlaw of development.
