With the continual deepening of the curriculum reform, we find that using the traditional teaching methods makes it very difficult to basically change today's condition of teaching and learning, and to fully reflect the educational conception of new curriculum. To truly carry on the quality-oriented education in class so that students can gain an all-round development, we should promote students'subjectivity, enhance their awareness of being the main body of learning, and make them take a full use of the initiative. This is not only the requirements of the new curriculum reform but also an issue for the majority of teachers to explore answers in the new era. Therefore, in order to meet the requirements of the new curriculum reform, an increasing number of teaching methods have been applied to class education, and game-teaching is one of them.In the new curriculum conception, we adhere to consider the idea that "for each student's development" as the main principle of the reform of the class education, and strive to transform teachers'teaching behaviors and students'learning ways. In the biological class of junior school, by using games such charismatic teaching methods to guide students to learn knowledge and to develop capacity in the class, we can inspire students'interest to learn biology and cultivate their abilities in many aspects.In this study, games and the teaching of biology are organically integrated. We begin with taking practice of teaching biology in junior school, then make a careful study of the game-teaching principle and carry on some practical investigations. On this basis, we start a discussion about the possibility of introducing games in class education, as well as the objective, principle and function of game-teaching. On the basis of discussion, we summarize the types of games which are often used in class according to the characteristics of students and subjects. The games are divided into knowledge consolidation game, skill training game and scientific inquiry game. Using literature survey, interviews and other research methods, we carry out an experiment about "game-teaching improve students'subjective initiative". We find that in junior school, the use of game-teaching can really enhance the independence, autonomy and initiative of students, thereby promoting the development of subjectivity.
