This study has explored the impact of songs' elements on children's singing Intonation in order to disclose the characteristics of children singing songs.It has made use of quantitative empirical research to reveal the relationship between the characteristics of children singing songs and those factors such as the songs range,the interval,and the key,etc.As follows the major conclusion of the study:1,The Compass and children's singing Intonation:the more suitable areas of children's singing are:3-4-year-old children is a~g~1;4-5-year-old children is g~a~1; 5-6-year-old children is g~a~1.Children's vocal tone are different from age to age.The difference between the 3-4-year-old group with 4-5-year-old group is greater than that between the 4-5-year-old group with 5-6-year-old group.Overall,on one hand, children's vocal tone is of individual differences,on the other hand,it is also different from group to group.The difference between the 3-4-year-old group with 4-5-year-old group is especially greater.This period may be an important stage for the development of children's vocal tone,and need much more attention.2,The interval and children's singing Intonation:The interval has many effects on the characteristics of children Intonation.,which can be concluded as:the interval's degree,the interval's location,the interval's direction,the interval rhythm in the melody,whether the interval within the range of children or not,etc.The study finds that the level of children's Intonation is stabe,and the difficulty of songs is universal for the majority of children.Therefore the composer of children Songs should adjust the structure and format of songs according to the difficulty of the interval so that the difficulty of Songs is in line with the characteristics of child care.3,The key and children's singing Intonation:The more notes in the range of the Compass for the songs of different tone,the higher the children's Intonation.The study on the children's performance of three singing tone in the same song found that children's performance can be divided into three categories:the children of the first category only have outstanding performance in a child's Pitch,and seriously follow the sound when the accompaniment is not suitable;the children of the second category have a certain migration ability to adapt to the different tune of the accompaniment; and the children of the third category seriously follow the sound in any case of adjustment for accompaniment so that they will improve thrie Intonation.The paper suggests that teaching strategies shoul be respectively taken based on the characteristics of the corresponding three types of child care.4,Other factors of songs and children's singing Intonation:In addition to the Compass,the interval,and the key,the song's melody patterns,the characteristics of rhythm,the composition of a note can also affect the children's singing Intonation. When children sing songs,there will be simplified melodies,the "dislocation" of melody,and simplified rhythm.Therefore,teaching strategies shoul be respectively taken in line with the songs' elements,so as to help children overcome the difficulty when they sing,and promote the development of children's singing ability. Finally,the paper has given a summary and review on the features of children's singing Intonation,and explored some ideas and recommendations about curriculum design of the pre-school singing teaching.It can provide a certain degree of evidence or foundation for the pre-school singing teaching,curriculum design,as well as songs' creation for child care.
