Our country is facing the economic reform. The entrepreneurial economy will become the prime motors of our country in the future. Simultaneously the university students are facing the huge employment pressure, and there are a lot of entrepreneurial opportunities. However the enterprise education in our country has just started. It is unable to satisfy society and student's entrepreneurial demands. So we should learn from the countries whose enterprise education has developed deeply The U.S.A. is the best at the enterprise education. This mainly benefits in its entrepreneurial culture. Therefore to start the research on enterprise education from cultural angle in American higher education and to discover the endogenous strength will improve the enterprise education research of our country, and it also has the important meaning for guiding the practices of enterprise education in higher education.This article mainly contains following several contents: First it elaborated the selected topic background, the research goal and the significance, and summarized the domestic and foreign related topic research ;then explained the concepts on culture. Next it has outlined the American culture and the American enterprise education in higher education development process and its characteristic.It has discussed the inner relationship between the American Puritan culture, the immigrant culture, the individualism culture emphatically, as well as the pragmatism culture and the enterprise education idea, the project, the safeguard system and the types in higher education. It obtained the beneficial enlightenment from the analysis, and proposed the corresponding countermeasure to develop our enterprise education in higher education. Finally this article summarized the main conclusion, and has given the questions which wait for further solving.
