Research Ancient Chinese Chuiwan,

Chinese nation has had age-old but splendid tradition culture , this has contained among them certainly also excellent traditional sports culture. But on Chinese ancient times of sports, had once, the traditional athletic sports ,such as "Nongwan",throwing the kettle,wrestle , ancient football,batting on the horse and so on.However,that the sports can most embody characteristic of Chinese traditional culture is "Chuiwan". "Chuiwan"have got through song,yuan ,ming,qing periods and there are many historical material and cultural relic which can make people peep at it. Same learned men have approached "Chuiwan" from different angles , but there are still the related problems to be ommitted.This thesis exerting primarily references pieces together more information and comes to a more all—round analysis,which contain analysis on "Chuiwan" from cultural angle.And also this thesis presents some new ideals on the problems which have been researched.The thesis has five parts:the first part includes that what is "Chuiwan",how it creat and the course of its generation, development, prosperity and extinction;the second and third parts, mainly using"the book of Chuiwan" , make an assay of characteristic of "Chuiwan" sport and "Chuiwan" cuture.The forth part expands on actual meaning and value; the last part carries out the trial research on the relation between "Chuiwan"and modern golf.
