Bilingual teaching means using mother tongue and the second or foreign language to teach subjects. Bilingual teaching began in U.S after the World War II, and its purpose is to intercede the conflict among races. Since then, many nations began to carry out bilingual teaching.This paper began with studying the modes of foreign bilingual teaching, analyze them, conclude them, and contrast our country's background and others. Then put forward the purpose of our country's bilingual teaching: training students' idea of multisided culture; advancing their capacity of thinking; improving their intelligence; providing a better background of learning English, boosting their performs of English; enhancing their physics ability; training their attainment of information.Physics is a basic scientific subject, its content are impersonal, so it is hardly affected by teaching language, and it suits to carry out bilingual teaching. This paper analyzes the basic causation form seven facets, and indicates that the physical bilingual teaching in high middle school is feasible, then lodges the principles of the teaching purposes designs. What's more, through questionnaire investigation among the students in the first grade in high middle school, we analyzed students' need for learning, emphasized the content of teaching and students' English level, physical level, knowledge about bilingual teaching. On the bases, we put on teaching design and practices. We deduced teaching principles: the English full of meaning; gradual increasing; students self-motion; double culture absorb; inspiration. At the same time, we study the evaluation of bilingual teaching through two aspects: contents and manners.Now, there is no perfect theory about bilingual teaching, in China, most study still stay in academic research. This paper emphasizes practice, study the bilingual teaching based on instructional design. We wish we could have a little progress in practice of bilingual teaching. In the end, based our practice of teaching, the paper shows there exist some questions such as teacher and texts and so on.
