| The subjects of this research are some college and university teachers and students of South-Wan area by method of literature, investigation research.According to the information acquired from the survey study, the thesis describes and explains the current situation of college sports in South-Wan area. It reveals the general rules of sports reform and development in colleges and analyzes the main reasons which affect the college sports development and tries to find out the solution. It tries to be as the theoretical and practical references for the development of college sports in South-Wan area and tries to supply the basis for the sports education people who want to engage in sports education and study. And it also tries to supply demonstration for the sports management and functional organization that will establish relative policies.Conclusion:1) There is no creativity of college sports curriculum design in South-Wan. Influenced by economy, environment and other factors, some colleges haven't put the content of syllabus and teaching plans into practice. In curriculum design, they still concern much with the athletic projects. It is a compulsory course in the first and second years: it is general course in the first year and as elective course in the second year. It is a hidden course in the grade three and four and so do in postgraduate stage. It just depends on their habits of sports activity.2) It is not so reasonable in sports teaching staff construction such as age structure, structure of professional title, structure of education and the structure of learning relation. Age structure is mainly teachers who are under 45 years old, but they are not added equally every year. Lecturers are the main part in the structure of professional title, the proportion of the teachers owned higher professional title is not so high. The structure of education is mainly bachelors. There are not so many teachers who have master diploma. The close relative multiplication is very severe in the structure of learning relation. There are so many teachers graduated from Anhui Normal University, which will go against the academic construction and development.3) The sports site facilities of South-Wan colleges are much lower than the standards established by the nation, which influenced the teaching quality to some degree and may not meet the requirements of students' enlargement.4) Sports teachers' awareness of scientific research is weak. The directions of sports research are right, but they are constrained by the funds and other reasons, most of the researches still stick to the teaching frame and teaching modes. There are no great breakthroughs.5) The students' initiatives to do sports exercises are not so high in South-Wan colleges. There are few sports projects and the awareness of sports consumption is weak. Some of the projects in test of physical fitness are much lower than the national level.6) The main factors that influence the sports development of South-Wan colleges are lag of economic development, the students' enlargement in the colleges, the government's macro policy and diversified culture.7) The main counter measures that improve the sports development of South-Wan colleges are design of college sports curriculum in South-Wan, increasing stability of sports teaching staff, designing material resources of P.E teaching, improve whole health of college students . |
