In the process of continuous urbanization in China,the number of migrant peasant workers' children has dramatically increased.Affected by factors such as rural economy,culture,and education,it is difficult for migrant peasant workers' children to adapt to the new environment after they come to the city,an the problems of learning adaptation appear.First of all,this study takes X primary school in Changchun City as an example to collect research data through questionnaires and interviews.It investigates and analyzes the current situation and needs of migrant peasant workers' children in X primary school.This paper randomly selected migrant peasant workers' children to carry out "Academic Adaptation Test(AAT)" questionnaire survey.Secondly,based on the completion of the test,the students with the lowest learning applicability score were selected as experimental subjects and divided into experimental group and control group.Using the "experimental group-control group pretest,posttest" paradigm to test the effect of social work intervention.Thirdly,this study takes the strength perspective theory and cognitive behavioral theory as guidance,conducts group work for the experimental group members,and conducts case work for the students with poor learning adaptability after the group activities.Taking this as an example,it explains specifically how social work can intervene in learning adaptation problems for students.Finally,it summarizes and reflects on the service process.According to the research conclusions of this article,social work can improve the adaptability of migrant peasant workers' children through the following aspects: first,helping students improve their learning ability;second,enhancing social communication skills so that students can communicate with parents,teachers,and classmates.Skills and methods of getting along with each other,building close relationships;third,effectively helping students improve their mental health and enhance their self-knowledge.
