This paper discusses about the understanding to home of 5~6 year-old children ,with qualitative research methods.The children in the research were selected from one kindergarten in Nanjing by convenience and objective sampling methods. They were asked to described "what is a home"by means of interviewing and drawing.On analyzing the collected datas, we find that their understandings to home include four parts: "the nature of home", "the formation of home", "the activities in home" and "experience of home".Further, there are four characers of Children's understandings to home :Home is a whole;Home is realise and openness; Home is a coupling of meaning and emotion; Children's understandings to home are rich in positive experience and negative emotions. |
