With the development of conflict perception and management practice, the contemporary conception of the conflict management is taking the place of the traditional one gradually, which can also guide our management practice. College education management faces numerous and complicated conflict problems nowadays. The college administrators' attitude towards the conflict and the ability to handle the conflict has a direct effect on the conflict management. And on the other hand, they also influence the management of the whole school indirectly. As a constituent part of the college conflict management, the management of the conflict between teacher and student is of vital importance. This paper holds the idea that conflict between teacher and student is inevitable in the organization and we should learn to accept it. An organization without conflict is not lifeful and, to some extent, the conflict can promote the development of the organization. The conflict between teacher and student has both positive and negative sides, which determines the restriction strategy does not fit for all the management. First of all, this paper proposed the managers to study the relevant theories. And then use the scientific theory to analyze the conflict and to manage it correctly. This paper has made some exploration of the basic framework of the analysis on the basis of multi-factor assessment. In the aspect of management strategy, the author first proposes several principles to the conflict between teacher and student; those are people oriented, overall management, preventive management, cause and symptom solution, differential treatment, and proper ignorance. Then the author gives a systemic analysis of the five modes: avoidance, compulsory, continence, cooperation and compromise. On the basis of the integration of the five modes, the author brings up a flexible-cooperation mode. This thesis finally proposes the general method and constructive method.
