Fifteenth Session Of The World Basketball Championship Team And The Top Three Teams Technical And Tactical Analysis

The 15th World Men's Basketball Championship held in Japan in 2006 is a competition of high level. The USA Basketball team remains strong, European has also appeared on the horizon, while the young Chinese only wins 2 sessions in the 6 competitions, with the consequence of number 15. Objectively speaking, although the Chinese Men's Basketball Team has some unsatisfying matches in the World Championships, they show their confidence and impetus for catching up with world strong teams. However, some problems are still exposed in the world matches, and we have a long way to go.The paper compares and analyzes the competition's specific technical and tactical indicators between the Chinese Men's Basketball Team and the top three teams with the methodology of literature material, video, data statistics, contrast and so on. The author summarizes the trends and the technical and tactical characteristics of the modern basketball as well as the advantages of China's basketball and the current main problems in order to identify the gap between our team and the strong teams of the Western world, which provides a theoretical basis for the training and competition and will help our own team's overall development and increase our abilities of competition in basketball.The results show that: 1. The new technical and tactical style are yet to be formed when Chinese men basketball team is in the pursuit of taller and larger, because we are not good at combining our traditional technical and tactical characteristics including fast, accurate, clever;2. Following the Chinese team being taller and larger, we have huge room for growth and development potentials. Our team plays competition unstably because the members are too young and have no experience; 3. The Chinese advantages are already apparent. And it's to be further improved in the convergence of inside and outside of the line because the weakness of defender and striker, especially the lack of personnel on guard; 4. Although the inner line has been the rank of the world's team, it is still weak in the position of the fullback and the line of vanguard; 5. As the youngest in the competition, the team's performances are unstable. But this match is for having a better show in the 2008 Olympic. Anyway, they have huge room to improve themselves; 6. The shortcomings of the Chinese Men's Basketball Team are always stalemate and pressed hard on by opponents in the World Series. There is no better method of tackling the problem; 7. Through the competition, our team shows the disadvantages, such as the absence of our style, body and skills can't match to the requirements of the competition, lack of flexibility and so on. It is hard to ask them to overcome them. What is really important is that we should manage and train scientifically and pay more attention to the scientific research on the basic training and defense training. We believe that the problems will be solved with the fast development of China's basketball.From the survey results, the Chinese Men's Basketball Team still remains large disparity with the European and American world strong teams, therefore, the author puts forward the following proposals: 1.Studying deeply development trend of international basketball and technical and tactical characteristics and discussing the rule of the winning grasp of basketball project; 2.Studying from abroad and inherit from the tradition in order to form our own style; 3. Strengthening the training of player's will and psychological quality; 4. Paying attention to the effect of the whole team; 5.Strengthening our players scientifically physical training; 6.we should decrease our mistakes in the competition; 7. "Going out and inviting people" to step up exchanges with the basketball world; 8.Deepening the reform, perfect the system and improve the level of the match; 9.Strengthening the training of reserve forces, taking attention of raising of the overall level.
