| This dissertation tries to pursue the historic mission of basic education curriculum reform from a cultural perspective, and based on Marxist practice philosophy as the main theoretical basis.Social life is essentially a practice, practice is the most basic form of human existence, thus the practice view unifies the understanding of culture, curriculum, and education in this thesis. Culture is the general survival of mankind, the body of the survival is practice, practice creates, derivatives the colorful survival picture of the human, which we calls human culture. Education is a special form of humanity survival, it is attributed to cultural and finally unified in practice.The thesis puts forward two core concepts: First, the education world is a holographic landscape in cultural vision, and is the world in general involved in educational meaning. Second, humanity subjectivity is harmonious subjectivity which is fully developed and based on practice. From the overall survival of human which I call it culture, humanity subjectivity is reflected on that people can deal with nature, society and themselves freely in their practice, seek truth,pragmatic,aesthetic,virtue as the value pursuit, and to maintain the dynamic balance of the four so as to form a harmonious personality. From a psychological point of view, this is the harmonious development about the cognitive, emotional, will, action of human, which is the development of individual freedom. On education, the training of humanities subject should mainly based on the organic integration of science education, social education, and cultural education.The full text Includes four parts.The first part is the introduction. This part emphasis the importance of questioning the mission of curriculum reform, analysis some confusion and the reasons in current curriculum reform, investigates different perspectives in discussing the mission of curriculum reform in current academic, believes the cultural dimension is a more inclusive perspective by comparative and analysis, and outlines a logical system of the full text in the cultural perspective.The second part is Chapter II. This part discusses two analytical framework about the mission of curriculum reform. The fist one is a conventional framework, it investigates the curriculum reform by external environment, status and internal nature. The second is the cultural framework. It focuses on two issues, first, it analysis the reasonableness of analysis the mission of curriculum reform with cultural view ,and analysis the relationship between curriculum and culture, the value orientation of curriculum reform, and the cultural mission of curriculum reform. Second, it puts forward the concept of humanity according to a generalized culture view and a generalized education vision, and explores the cultural nature and humanity characteristics of education world.The third part includes Chapter III and Chapter IV. This part studies the historical evolution of subject and the philosophy about subject, puts forward a series of concept about humanity subjectivity, cultural alienation, cultural self-discipline, analysis phenomena and its causes of cultural alienation in education world, and analysis the ideal and its reality efforts of cultural self-discipline in education world .The fourth part is Chapter V. The text tries to explore the cultural mission of curriculum reform, which I call it from culture alienation to self-discipline. Focuses on the following issues: First, pre-construct the world landscape of education presuming it is on self-discipline state, puts forward three principles of self-discipline in education world, which is necessary to adhere to, and puts forward three objectives of self-discipline education world; second, stresses that we should hold on a dialectical transformation of the culture in education world which wanted to be exercised self-discipline; third, explores two mechanism of macro of the self-regulatory of education world ; fourth, puts forward two macro-strategy of self-discipline in education world.In some concluding remarks, further stresses the importance of strengthen self-discipline of education world in the transition period in china where the three forms of social forms coexists, including agricultural civilization, industrial civilization, and information civilization.The missing of humanity subject is caused by alienation of human existence, and further lead to the alienation of human existence, which I call it cultural alienation. To achieve a better development of human society, we should be committed to the reconstruction of humanity subject, thus make human survival overcome alienation, go towards the truth, which I call it cultural self-discipline. Education world is the world which is full of unlimited potential and vitality. Reconstruction of humanity subject, promote education world to go towards self-discipline, this is the cultural mission of the basic education curriculum reform. The most perfect and most realistic concept of education is constructing the Lifelong Education System in 21st century. |
