Along with the rapid development of the communication technology,computer network technology and the multimedia technology,online learning appeared as a new mode of learning.The new mode realized personalized study,highly resource sharing and interaction crossing space and time between teachers and students,so recently more and more people choose this mode to learn.It bring much convenience because it's characteristics of opening, flexibility,distributivity and nonlinearity.While each students is alone in the online learning environment,interaction between students and teachers,other students and learning material become very important.But each student has his own learning style,weather the differences of their learning style will bring differences in their online learning performance and the learning results has become a focus in this study area.In order to study the online learner's learning style will bring what impacts on the online interactions and the results of the learning,explore learning style theory's directive function to the network instruction,and promote web curriculum's personalized building,taking the students of 07 Computer Education Majors in Institute of Information Science and Technology of Taishan College as study object,the author put up research and practice of the online interaction based on the learning style theory.In this paper,a theoretical study:Summary of the differences of the learning style status quo at home and abroad in the online leaming field;define the related concepts of online interaction and learning style,and expatiate the Kolb learning style theory and online interaction theory.In this paper,part of the practice:taking the students of 07 Computer Education Majors in Institute of Information Science and Technology of Taishan College as study object,in October 2008 to November 2008 launched related experiment.The experiment required students use image process software Photoshop to making an ads picture.In this process, when they met any questions,they can use QQ as an interactive tool,to discuss with the teachers or other students.The author took part in the discussion process as an assistant, observed and recorded the performances of different students of distinct learning style.Then adopt content analytic method,questionnaire survey procedure and analysis the data with SPSS.Explored the degree of interaction participation,the depth of interaction and preferences to different manifestation of the course content.At last,the author proposed several strategies to improve the online study interactive quality.During the online interactive learning activities,the degree of interaction participation differs in students of different learning style,the post quantity descending order is: accommodator,diverger,converger,assimilator.The depth of interaction and the participation degree are not proportional while it is related to the preferences of the information processing and sensation.It's sorting situation is:diverger,converger,accommodator,assimilator. Questionnaire show that most students like materials which were presents by video.Besides, test of between-subjects effects show that the combined effect of learning style and depth of interaction lead to different learning result.So,we should improve the quality of interaction from two aspects:subjects of participate interaction and environment of interaction.
