The forming of the concept of Function,which indicated the brand transition of thought way in Mathematics.The transition is from constant Mathematics to variable Mathematics.And the application of function reflects in the every aspect of our lives, science and production.When it comes to the secondary Mathematics,function is important without doubt.It had been the main line of secondary Mathematics,but it had also become one of the most difficult concepts.Based on the importance and complexity of function,the paper begins with the investigation of the function studying of the Junior middle school students, senior middle school students and freshmen,the author designed questionnaires,study the common mistakes in the function learning.Regarding this and did related factor analysis.Next, observing the actual classroom function teaching in some Junior middle schools and senior high schools.Analysed teachers'function teaching process,get the teaching factors that influence function learning as followsahe teacher's relatively stable function teaching link, the use of situation questions, set the asking questions as the main way of interaction,compute software aided teaching,all prompted the student function understanding;large quantity of exercise training and difficult problems, less of enquiry and feedback strategy, teachers take care of everything about student's thought,decorative classroom summary,all has restricted the student cognition level development.At last,this paper put forward some function teaching proposals from function concept formation,the deepening and the consolidated process.
