| With a focus on Lisu in Yunnan Province, the author tries to summarize traditional family education for infants and young children on the basis of ethnology references. The influence of family education on the welling of infants and young children is then analyzed from the perspective of developmental psychology and modern family education study. Following this, the paper put forward constraining and facilitating factors for the welling of this group, in the hope of providing references for modern family education.The paper is written in three parts.The first part is introduction, covering research purpose, literature review, core concepts, theoretical basis, research methods and significance, and an overview of Lisu in Yunnan province.The second part, or the main body is given over to four chapters. Chapter one is the influence of traditional marriage and family system on child rearing. It mainly discussed three factors, choice of spouse, choice of first pregnancy age and traditional family structure.Chapter two is traditional principles of family education, covering the perspective of the importance of family education, goal orientation, gender and quantity preference, and their influence of family education on the welling of infants and young children. Chapter three is the traditional family child nurturance activities, covering one's daily life care in fetus period, neonate period, infant and young children period. Furthermore, the family child nurturance traditions' influence to children's physical and mental development is analyzed in both positive and negative sides.Chapter four is a summarization of traditional family education for infants and young children in Lisu, covering the approach of language teaching in multilingual context, life skill education in games, moral education, and so on.In conclusion, the author evaluated traditional family education in Lisu, providing references for school education and cultural preservation. |
