The phenomenon of erroneous characters in handwriting and character usingis serious. Those problems will affect not only the Chinese characters proficiencyof primary and elementary student, but also their cognition of mother tongue anddevelopment of Chinese philology.This research topic's language errors was founded through collecting in theschool assignment, composition, test paper, etc. of primary elementary student.This article select 2772 erroneous as the object of study, I analysed ualitively onthe erroneous characters made by primary and elementary student; And I find thefeatures of erroneous character made in the lower primary grades, intermediateprimary grades, and higher primary grades from a diachronic way, andindividuality analysis on features of erroneous characters of erroneous charactersof each stage, then I acknowledged further the erroneous situation and dynamicchanges of each stage.First,we have calssified the erroneous character.Erroneous character can becalssified into 3 major types:C(Wrong character),D(Wrongly-writtencharacter),E(irregular characters) with the proportion of 38.74percent,60.83 percent,and 0.43 percent respectively.Thus the irregular charactersoccupy the mainstream of erroneous character made by primary and elementarystudent.After the major type classification, we then divide the erroneous charactersmade by primary and elementary student into 16 major types.And we can also findthe difference among them is significant through the lassified quantitative analysis.Secondly,we have studied the erroneous character of each stage.According to thecognitive statistics of the erroneous characters of each stage ,I find graduallydecrease as the grade going up, the wrongly written characters gradually decreaseand mispronounced and irregular ones increase, which indicates the proportion ofglyph error made by lower grades is bigger than that by higher grades, so thatglyph teaching of lower grades should be more important; when it comes to thestage of higher grades, the proportion of wrongly-written characters increases witha knowledge of more character and the interaction among the glyph, pronunciationand meaning, therefore, more emphasis should be put on the Chinese principlecharacter teaching which stresses the glyph meaning relation and glyphpronunciationrelation .Based on the study of the statistics, we analyse the reasons what lead to the incorrect Chinese characters. we think ,these reasons include the students, teachersand texts etc. I have tried to make persuasive explanations.In the end, the paper proposes appropriate countermeasures,in terms of thefacors which can affect the literally teaching.This essay possesses the authenticity close to the Chinese character learningof primary and investigating the actual material; It obtains a lot of data through thematerial analysis, which is of a certain reference value for the Languagecurriculum standard ,the development of teaching material, and the practice ofliterally teaching.
