How To Develop Students' Critical Thinking. School Mathematics Teaching

Critical thinking and its cultivation in the west have been attached great importance to. Many developed countries have offered relevant courses in both high schools and colleges, which makes the critical thinking ability become the aim of personal growth and education. While in this field the learners in our country only did little research on it, so it is not enough emphasized and it's isolated. This can not be coordinated with the present education and social development. Therefore, how to introduce and make use of some advanced theories and results made by foreigners, how to develop the critical thinking effectively with the combination of the development and experiments in our country remain to be discussed further.This research is based on the former ones, which states the relationship between critical thinking and other thinking and also analyzed the essential elements of the critical thinking. According to the questionnaires of critical thinking in the math teaching, it analyzes the reason for affecting critical thinking. Based on this, it comes up with the teaching strategies of developing critical thinking in math teaching, including creating the relevant teaching environment, maintaining new teacher-student relationship, changing the way of teaching and learning, making a breakthrough of the teaching process, improving the evaluation methods as well as making full use of the Internet.
