Chinese has become more and more popular worldwide due to the enhancement of overall national strength and the rapid development of the economy. In recent years, the number of students from abroad to study in China has been increasing year by year. Among these students, the number of high school students is also mounting rapidly. To set up courses on Chinese culture becomes an important way to help them with their study of Chinese culture. However, the current Chinese culture courses are monotonous in contents. Moreover, the design and conduction of courses integrated with general practicing activities are mostly subjective and arbitrary. All these hinder students' study and understanding towards Chinese culture, and will be unhelpful to cultivate their cross-culture communication abilities. This thesis is based on the current situation of Chinese culture courses and relevant general practicing activities among high school foreign students. Through investigations and teaching practice, after collecting materials and thorough thinking, this thesis explores the theoretical basis and practical value of applying general practicing activities to high school Chinese culture courses. In this thesis, I also put forward the teaching and reforming methods of integrating general practicing activities with Chinese culture courses, and ways to improve the evaluation system of the qualities of students' activities.
