Despite of the rapid development and popularity of Internet, it bring greatconvenience to people's life, but some of the characteristics of the network itself willlead to Internet Addiction Disorder, especially bring a significant negative impact onmiddle students'daily life and study. In recent years, researchers from area ofsociology, psychology, clinical study focus on the study of this phenomenon.Regarding the internet addiction status for middle school students, the key point is notexecute treatment for a small number of internet addict, the key point is to identify thecauses of internet addiction and take effective precautions on the network users, inorder to cut down the tendency of addiction and reduce the number of addicts, guidethe middle school students in using internet well.This study is divided into two parts: The first part is a experimental research which isbase on the research results of , analyze the mechanism ofInternet addiction for secondary students, in connection with the factors of InternetAddiction for middle school students in Shanghai, bring forward the right means toprevent the addiction. Taken the sampling method to selected subjects from a fullmiddle school in Songjiang District in Shanghai, select two parallel classes fromgrade one in junior high school (a total of seven classes), class four as theexperimental group and class three as the control group; selected two parallel classesfrom grade one in senior high school (a total of five classes), class one as theexperimental group, class two as a control group. Independent variables of this researchare preventive measures for the internet addiction which including: implementation ofinternet knowledge education, series of characteristic class meetings, groupcounseling; dependent variables of this research including: the post-test scores of, , ;control variables of this research including: the control class only has traditional classmeetings while the experimental class conduct comprehensive measures to preventInternet addiction, remain experimental class and control classes'teachers'age, teaching experience and other factors basically the same. Research results show thatInternet addiction prevention measures play a significant role in the cut down ofinternet addiction tendency and improve level of mental health factors. Then we cansummarize an effective network of addiction prevention programs for middle schoolstudents and to carry out promotion, so can be able to bring some researchsignificance for internet Addiction researchers.The second part is a case study. According to the result of "The scale of InternetAddiction Diagnoses" as well as interviews with the teacher, choose a representativeinternet addiction patients and execute psychological counseling on him. The wholepsychological intervention process including the evaluation of internet usage patterns;establishes the program of implementation; improve programs, the consolidation andfeedback of the results. Through a series of psychological counseling, it has a positiveeffect on the patient's internet addiction.
