Higher order thinking skills, in the English world, is called "higher order thinking skills, HOTS". Over the years, the most research on higher order thinking skills are on the basis of Broom, Flavell and Sternberg's theory. Present-day society, the network's rapid development makes the social patterns of information and high-speed, business globalization, high technology, education modernization and so on. Faced with this new form,Chinese and foreign educational and research institutions and experts have long been concerned about and exploring to the problem what kind of thinking skills learners should have to adapt to needs of the 21st century. Throughout the related research in last ten years, it is not difficult to find attention to development of the learners'higher order thinking skills (also known as higher-level thinking skills) has become a hot issue, fostering and promoting development of learners'higher order thinking skills has become an important goals for international Education/teaching reform and development. Now, China is in the boom period of curriculum reform, physical sciences, as a highly logical and highly integrated discipline must be heights of students teaching to bring up higher order thinking skills.This will be to study teaching practice in high school physics teaching to bring up students'higher order thinking skills. For some of the problems manifested in New Curriculum for physics teaching, through higher order thinking skills, being based on brain science, psychology and pedagogy, follow the idea of new curriculum reform, from the internal level, deep the research of developing students'higher order thinking skills. Around research and implementation of strategies and methods to foster students'higher order thinking skills, introduce the world's most advanced educational concepts to domestic, localization, it allow teachers to master the way of foster students'higher-order thinking ability in high school physics teaching, to deep and advance the new curriculum reform. Hope to explore the effective methods of fostering students'higher order thinking skills in high school physics teaching, and to help front-line teachers to solve the problem of philosophy and practice about development higher order thinking skills disconnect. From teaching practices for implement cultivating higher order thinking skills in physics teaching, promote students to develop from their original level and personality development and overall development, ultimately contribute to improving the quality of physics teaching.This paper carried out two teaching experiments. Experiment observes to the practical experience courses in Xiang Ming high school more than two years, and comparative analysis of which 60 samples were grouped. The results showed that students who participated in the physical-related practical experience have more obviously improved on physical performance than students who did not in high school. The experiment proved that students'higher order thinking ability is obviously helpful to students'capable of learning physics in practical experience courses. Experiment 2 verifies difference of students'higher order thinking skills by previous test and post-test between two parallel classes with different teaching strategies. Experiments demonstrated that the use of certain teaching strategies can develop and improve students'higher order thinking skills in high school physics classroom.
