After "building up the system of socialism core values" was proposed as the significant proposition and the strategic mission for the first time in the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee, it has become the hot issue and priority in high school moral education. However, although both countries and schools put more emphasis on such education, students don't show their enthusiasm in it. Obviously, the popularization of knowledge and the improvement of understanding don't bring about the great improvement in students'performance. What's worse, a small proportion of students who know socialism core values don't believe it; others who know don't take action, which has caused a serious separation of knowing from doing. Therefore, reviewing the current situation and the characteristics of the socialism core values education, and researching empirically the agreement on the socialism core values education among college students from the psychological point of view, not only can enrich the socialism core values system theory, but also can provide theoretical and practical reference for realizing the effectiveness of socialist core values education in colleges.Through various ways such as literature review, open-ended questionnaires, interviews, expert consultation the paper points out the concept of the identification on college students socialism core values education. A test questionnaire is made based on that. Its dimensions is analyzed and explored through exploratory factors, and the formal questionnaire is made after some topics are modified. In the paper 850 Chongqing college students are investigated and the results show that:1. The questionnaire on socialism core values education identity in this paper has a good reliability and validity, which meets psychometrical requirement..2. Our self-designed questionnaire on socialism core values education of college students analyzes and further finalizes three different dimensions, say, education content, education method and educator through exploratory factors. Generally speaking, this questionnaire can reveal the characteristics of college students'identification on socialism core values education.3. Through the analysis of different dimensions of college students'identification on socialism core values education, we can reach the conclusion that there are no marked differences among college students'general identification on socialism core values education in terms of sex, region, specialty and political status. However, college students in different grades show distinct difference on their general identification on socialism core values education as well as education method. To be specific, freshmen show a higher identification on education method than sophomores do; meanwhile, there are no marked differences between the other two dimensions of education content and educator.
