Since the 20th century, along with the development of world economy, various countries have become increasingly aware of the importance of science education, worked hard, through educational reform to improve the literacy of all citizens. China's adoption in 2001 of Primary Science Education Standards, published in 2002 in succession to the new curriculum standards based on the eight edition of elementary school science textbooks. In order to enable teachers to better understand the materials, this paper structuralism methodology as the guide to the Education, Science Press,2002, the structure of primary school science textbook analysis, with a view to promote the science curriculum of primary school teachers a comprehensive understanding and grasp.The first part of this study was introduction to illustrate the purpose of this study, content, status of foreign researchers and research significance. The second part presents the theoretical basis of this study was that the structure of Marxist philosophy, methodology, and structuralist schools of educational theory. The third part is English Edition version of the surface structure of primary school science textbooks. Through our country, the United States, Canada, comparison of the three materials-based analysis of the basic concepts primary school science and basic principles of composition. From our primary school science textbook knowledge composition; textbook knowledge point of distribution; knowledge of presentation materials; textbook charts, pictures of the analysis; knowledge of the presentation of primary school science teaching in terms of surface structure parsing description. The fourth part is the deep structure of primary school science textbooks. From the primary science teaching materials reflect the scientific inquiry, scientific spirit and attitude in areas such as in-depth analysis. Fifth section presents the basic science teaching in primary recommendations:focus on the concept of student learning; old and new knowledge contacts; the creation of classroom teaching situations; in the process of scientific inquiry-oriented scientific inquiry skills of students; students a scientific attitude and scientific spirit. Finally, the article's summary and outlook. This study by English Edition version of the structure of primary school science textbook analysis that the English Edition version of materials arranged according to the cognitive development of students, focusing on the cultivation of the ability of students to explore; concerned about the students problem-solving capabilities; to achieve feelings, attitudes, values, three organic combination; conducive to the students the formation of scientific literacy and character development.
