| The development of teachers is vary from person to person by appearance. In essence, there are certain rules can be follow. In this paper, some inspirations were summarized after Shen Weisuo's case study, which are helpful to Chemistry teachers in China. From the growth process of Teacher Shen, we can roughly conclude his five stages of teacher's development (1. Novice stage; 2. Advanced beginner level; 3. Competent stage; 4. Skilled stage; 5. Expert stage) are as following: new teacher-teacher at adjustment stage-experienced-. skilled teacher-prospective teacher-pedagogue teacher-wisdom teacher, which is a way gathering experience firstly and then reflecting on self-growth, which is also a extensive development model of most teachers.Study teacher of special grade should study the behavior in classroom instruction to seek the reasons why they did so and the deeper level of their education laws. For some theories they can not expressed it vividly, but they did do that significantly, sometimes even much than the theories themselves. After cumulative educational practice, what Special-grade teacher do and what Special-grade teacher think were very similarly to education experts'opinion. But there are still some irreconcilable contradictions between the two, which need us to comprehend better when the learners use. So when learning teaching experience suited the actual condition from teacher of special grade, they should choose their own suitable way, not following like sheep.This paper focuses on the extraction and analysis of "teacher's practical knowledge" by studying chemistry teacher of special grade Shen Weisuo's case. Teachers'focus is different at different stages in development, and studying teacher's growth must start from the stage which the teacher at. In this paper, teacher Shen's personal growth was analyzed and researched by case study method that is one of qualitative research methods.After analysed the interview data, the meeting point between theory and practice was found from the five stages of teacher Shen's teaching growth in this paper, and then the inspirations were summed up which were helpful to Chemistry teachers'growth. In 1983, teacher Shen graduated from Xianyang Normal College, and now he was working in High School affiliated to Xi'an Jiao tong University. In the last 27 years for teaching, teacher Shen served both junior school and senior school. From working in rural school to the elite School in the capital city, he experienced loneliness and noise. From the journey and footprint that teacher Shen walked successfully, the solutions teacher Shen used to solve problems, teacher Shen's student views and material view and other factors, the key reasons for him to grow from a stage to another successfully was finally found, and development way for Chemistry teacher at different stage was also turned up.The key words of teacher Shen's every grow stages are:(1) imitation and changing role; (2) internalization and innovation; (3) lessons and explorations; (4) reflection, love and focus on students.Inspiration from teacher Shen's growth process:(1) imitating masters-new to teacher; (2) loving students-triple realm; (3)stepping out the ocean of paper-education in accordance with individual differences; (4) reading books-essence is the key of the knowledge; (5) working ceaselessly-treasuring both studying and thinking. |
