In modern society, people are tend to pay special attention to minorities in all works of life. Spurred by preservation of welfare of chinese minorities there emerges awareness and heated debate in academic field. Erlunchun people are minority people in China. It's significant to probe into the development of Erlunchun people, in relevance with their status quo,development track, and concerning problems in social development. Therefore, the study exerts positive influence and provides solutions in solving problems among other minorities.There are several obstacles in development of minority people as follows:deterioration of environment, unsound infrastructure, social immaturity, economic lag, traditional outlook, education lag, etc.,which have greatly hindered the development of minorities in China.Being minority group of China, Erlunchun people inhabit in peculiar densely-populated prefecture, where gives birth to unique minority culture.There are three leaps in the track of social development in terms of social system, lifestyle and mode of production;subsequently, population, livelihood, education and hygiene have achieved unprecedented progress.All of these transformations have imposed far-reaching influence on Erlunchun people in terms of recognition of social transformation, marriage outlooks, and traditional values.However, there still are some practical problems in the development of Erlunchun people, which can be show as follows:the contradiction between development purpose and economic status quo, unitary industrial structure, inadequacy of exploit, cultural impact.There are some factors contributing to the cause of these problems,such as deficiency of independent developing ability, overspeeding of transformation of production mode, ignorance of psychological adaptation, over dependent on external aid, deterioration of ecological environment, and impact on traditional culture.These problems facing Erlunchun people apply to other minorities as well, and provoke some consideration how to convert the mode of production, how to coordinate national policies in minorities and how to materialize heritage and enhancement of traditional culture.If Erlunchun people are apt to materilize the transformation of production mode, they are bound to oppress the outlook of economically single-line evolution.
