Popularity and application of computer network greatly influence the individual's way of living and thinking, also offer the new challenge and opportunity for ideological and political education in university. In cyberspace, the public opinion in web lacking the available constrain of ethics and law negatively affect idea and politics of students, and educators face the difficulty of monitoring and guiding the dynamic ideas. Thus, it is significant to take the full use of information from public opinion in web and reinforce the monitor and management to public opinion in web, in purpose of innovating ideological and political education in university.Combining the intelligent processing technology with the theory and method of ideological and political education in university, the paper illustrated some issues about method of ideological and political education in university. The public opinion in web includes rich information of cyber citizen, and is the effective channel to grasp the dynamic idea of students. The knowledge of public opinion, extracted from the complicated network, would be helpful for educators to grasp situations, draft education policy and enhance the education and propaganda. With the target of ideological and political education in university, constructing the system of public opinion monitoring will enhance the effect and efficiency of ideological and political education and change the method of ideological and political education.With the correlative concept and principle introduced, the relationship between the public opinion in web and the ideological and political education was clarified.
