The monitoring systems themselves need to be monitored. The major idea of this dissertation is to present a model of monitoring system which monitors Street-lamp and Brightening Control System.Following a survey of the variety of models and definitions in the software agent realm, an Agent-based monitoring solution is put forward, which could well monitor the Street-lamp and Brightening Control Systems distributed in a dozen of cities. It senses target software systems, while exceptions occur messages will be sent to remote supervisor machine through an Agent-base communication platform, where these error messages are summed up and a diagnosis on the target system is carried on upon these resources. Eventually, an online auto-updating will replace bugged software modules. This monitor system will greatly help maintaining the Street-lamp and Brightening Control Systems. And the key infrastructures supporting an implementation to the solution upon the Microsoft .NET platform are fully described. |
