The embedded communication protocol is seemed to be a language, which is used to communicate between embedded devices and outside. With the embedded applications becoming wider and deeper, embedded devices are playing an important role in various aspects of our lives. Meanwhile, the contents of embedded communication protocol are getting more and more abundant, the most representative of which is embedded TCP/IP protocol stack.Because the resources of embedded systems are of a little limitation and the systems have rather a worse capability, this paper aims at these disadvantages and proposes some creative suggestions. By making use of the component idea, this paper succeeds in carrying out special component for devices drivers and some relative functions of operating systems. This method can improve the transplant and configuration characteristics of protocol stacks efficiently and decrease the bulk of protocol stacks for every application greatly.In the course of developing the TCP/IP stack, this paper thinks about the characteristics of embedded systems thoroughly, and on the basis of not breaching the protocol standards, this paper makes the most of simplifying the protocol stack and deals with those protocols except for kernel ones according to the component thought, so it can decrease the capacity of given application. In addition, by adding PPPOE protocol in the protocol stack, it can make the internet linkage for family users convenient.Among the application layer protocol is researched and according to the actual needs, this paper designs TX_TFTP protocol based on UDP protocol and simple HTTP CLIENT based on TCP protocol.
