B / S Mode, The Ms-sql Server Database Remote Management System

With the rapid development and popularization of computer technology, Management Information System has gone deeply into all walks of life in modern society. As the measure form of data storage, databases are more and more important in the information society. So it's a valuable issue that how to use databases conveniently, effectively and safely. This project is one of the resolutions of this question which is a MS-SQL Server Database Remote Management System based on B/S.From the aspect of software engineering, this paper describes the method of developing the system by Object-Oriented method; the tool is Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2003. It has been proved that developing management information system by Object-Oriented analysis and Object-Oriented design not only can enhance develop-efficiency, the developer don't need change concept and symbol in the process; but also can reuse software greatly, using Object-Oriented technology, user and developer can conveniently communicate and coordinate.Virtual Mainframe MS-SQL Server Database Remote Management System makes use of the measure of UML (Unified Modeling Language). UML is a fine defined, easily expression, having plenty of function and famous modeling language. It contains the thinking of software engineering. It may be not only used in Object-Oriented analyses and designs but also used in the whole process of software development.Through using the service of SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO), this system communicates with SQL Server. This system provides two operation models. One is graphic interface suiting for elementary users which is operated easily. The other is command interface suiting for advanced users which is operated conveniently. Besides it adopts XML technology to store the cryptograph of logins, so that users can conveniently encrypt and decrypt important data.The software's functions: database creating and editing, execute user-defined script, import and export schemas and data, database backup and restoring, data encrypting and decrypting and so on.
