Instant Messaging System Design And Implementation Of E-government In Chengde City

Network covers almost everywhere nowadays,along with development of informationization, As a real-time interactive technology, Instant messaging system (IM) dramatically changes the way people communicate, work and play. On the network, users can send and receive text messages, voice and video media data through instant messaging system which relates to network communication protocols, P2P technology, C/S and B/S development model, Web Service, multimedia technology, network security and many other technical fields.As ceaseless expansion of the business needs of e-government, instant messaging with quick and convenient communication mode goes into the government office activities gradually. Instant messaging system is becoming an important part of the construction and the development direction in e-government network platform development application.This thesis presents the theory of instant messaging and the traits of main stream instant messaging system at home and abroad. Also, it gives detailed requirement analysis about IM's application in E-government affairs combining with current instant messaging system function and e-government business needs. Based on the study of technical feasibility, economical feasibility and operation feasibility, the author thinks that that instant messaging system applied in e-government is completely feasible.Then, this thesis presents the study from the aspects of network communication technology, software development technology, database technology and security technology respectively, and shows the overall system structure design, database design, system detailed design, system safety design. This thesis presents detailed system analysis on the main modules of IM's client and server part, expounds the main functions of each module and gives flow diagram. Finally, it finishes each module's detailed design and realization way.The development and realizing of E-government affairs instant message system mainly depends on the principle and method of software engineering, according to the system analysis, system design and system implementation. It uses Eclipse as the system program development tool, and adopts MySql as backend database. The IM System adopts the client/server mode. The connection and communication between the client and server is mainly on SOCKET (TCP), using multithreading approach to process many customers' requests concurrently. This system provides users with a real-time communication platform, combining text message communication, the multiplayer session, file transfer functions. It can fit for the officers' daily communication requirement. This system design and implementation for the department of the complete development collect a variety of functions at an organic whole, satisfy between staff member daily communication requirements of the instant communication platform provides important reference and reference.
