In the progress of industrial production and scientific experiments, temperature is one of the important parameters which needs measurement and control. With the degree of automation of industrial production being higher and higher, the measurement of temperature is getting more and more general and the same to the requirements of temperature measurement. Because of the varied kinds of temperature sensors and the different measurement accuracy in different measurement range, it calls for reasonable selection of thermometers. A certain non-linear exists in majority of temperature components that demands online compensation. In addition to displaying real-time temperature, other management functions like realizing alarm easily, displaying temperature movement trends, statistical analysing to the temperature measured are generally needed. Automatic remote testing needs to be realized at some large-scale production sites or occasions where the environmental conditions are especially poor. For these reasons, the traditional hardware-based temperature measurement system can't adapt to the requirement of modern temperature measurement.This research subject according to the given temperature requirements, making full use of the latest achievements of the development of virtual instruments, at the platform of graphical programming language LabVIEW, designed and developed a remote virtual multi-channel temperature measurement system.The specific research is as follows:1.For different temperature range, choose appropriate temperature sensors to access to the temperature signal; designing the external circuit in accordance with the temperature measurement accuracy for signal conversion and acquisition; using uncertainty theory to forecast the total uncertainty of all temperature measurement modules, to ensure that units designed meet the requirements of temperature measurement.2.Second development has been made in the Labview platform, completed the temperature measurement functions such as the digital filter, non-linear compensation, real-time display, as well as the generation of temperature trend curve, the temperature distribution histogram, historical data query, the temperature alarm limits, and other information management functions.3.A preliminary studies on the network of long-range tests have been made, and long-range temperature testing and information management have been made on the basis of analysis of a variety of common long-range test technology combined with the actual conditions to option and use the Data Socket technology to complete the design of client and server-side programming.The research results of the subject showed that with the development of modern testing technology, combining the traditional measuring techniques with the virtual machines whose software platform is labview, can make up for many disadvantages of the traditional test, and bound to be a direction of the development of the Measurement and Control Technology.
