As the development direction of the next generation network,IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)becomes the hot research spot of the global communications field.IMS can transplant the colorful Internet services to the mobile communication network directly,so that it facilitates the development of a new service.The international community for the IMS study , has come to NGN and IMS full integration stage.Standard has been relatively mature,major network equipment providers in the world is rich in successful business case,served on a number of Pre-commercial and commercial real network.However, in order to achieve profitability and sustainable development, still need to have excellent and popular business, and is also an urgent need to get the killer application to win the market.Presence of IMS networks is a business, known as the foundation of IMS services across all business planning, and its role is obvious. The instant message in IMS is also very import.This dissertation has studied the important fieldthoroughly by the realization of instant message and presence service based on J2EE technology.The main contents of this article as follows: First, a detailed study of the IMS network business in particular all aspects of layer. Presence of the IMS network operations and instant message operations to carry out a detailed analysis of the main flow.And a detailed study of key technologies in java at IMS Service Layer of an important role..This article analyzes the use of J2EE technology SIPServlet and JDBC, JAXP, which are commonly used java technologies, to realize basic server business of IMS network server-side about presence server and IM server.Java language's technology, such as used in this thesis Servlet technology, JDBC technology, JAXP technology has an important characteristic: excellent architecture and thus has a very good encapsulation of non-business logic code . On the one hand, this feature so that programmers can really focus on the business logic implementation; on the other hand, improve procedures the correctness and scalability, reducing the procedure bug.
