Research On Optimization Of Purchasing Management Mode Of Shanghai General Motors Company

Supply Chain Management(SCM) aims at, by establishing strategic partnership among various entities, integrating supply chain resources to improve logistics, commodity flow, information flow and capital flow of the overall supply chain, further enhancing the competitiveness of the chain as a whole. Procurement, as a crucial link in Supply Chain Management, functions as the medium bridging the internal customers and external suppliers. This article, under the guidance of Supply Chain Management theory and procurement management theory, adopting both qualitative and quantitative approaches, offers a detailed analysis of the procurement framework based on Supply Chain Management and its operation mode in Shanghai General Motor(SGM). Meanwhile, this article combines the long-term field work experience in procurement with extensive literature review in related field. Stormed with long-term development, SGM has accumulated a wealth of operational experiencein the procurem ent manage-ment. However, the purchasing management of SGM still has someproblems, this paper analyzes the present situation of Shanghai generalautomobile procurement management, there are certain problems in supplier selection and management, Shanghai General Motors Co, cost control, purchasing process and information system. Based on in-depthanalysis on the relevant issues and causes on the optimization scheme was put forward for the Shanghai General Motors Co of the purchasing management and the corresponding security measures, the result of this paper has certain reference significance for strengthening the purchasing management level of other automobile manufacturing enterprise of our country.
