In the international market, one of the competitive advantages of China is rich in low cost labor resources. At present, the labor intensive industry still plays an important role for the national economy as it can absorb a great number of labors from rural areas. With time past and the rapid development economy, the new generation of off-farm workers has become the main part of the workers. Compared with the old generation off-farm workers, the new generation off-farm workers have formed its own characters no matter on personality, values and job outlook. If a company can have a stable production depends on if these workers are satisfied with their jobs. It is great important to improve the new generation off-farm workers job satisfaction and to cut down their labor turnover rate.Yangzhou is located in the economically developed Yangtze River Delta region. Compared with other coastal cities, brushes, plush toys, garments and shoes are still the main foreign exchange industries. This paper focuses on the new generation off-farm workers in a brush manufacturing enterprise named X Toothbrush Co., Ltd. which lies in the world famous toothbrush making town Hangji, to investigate their will of resignation phenomena. X Toothbrush Co., Ltd has faced the problems of shortage workers for many years. The main reason is that the short time working of the young workers. This situation has greatly influenced the stable production and development of the company. This paper tries to investigate the reasons of this phenomenon in order to find out the work condition of the new generation off-farm workers and find ways to deal with it. Through investigation, we get to know the job satisfaction of the new generation off-farm works and the influencing factors and their relations and to find out the methods and measures for improving the new generation off-farm workers job satisfaction.Through the methods of interviews and questionnaire survey, analyzing the collected data by SPSS21.0, this paper discussed the main factors influencing the off-farm workers job satisfaction and turnover intention and put forward the measures and policies of improvement.
