The 18 th CPC National Congress pointed out that China’s economic development mustrely more onconsumer-driven, to rely more onthe service sector, new industriesto drive. Currently, vigorously develop the service industry for the strategic restructuring of China’s economy is important, but to master the factors affecting the development of China’s service industry is especially important. Rely on large-scale conventional factor inputs in order to maintain economic growth is not sustainable manner, and only when an indicator to measure the quality of economic development- when total factor productivity(TFP) has become a pillar of economic development in order to achieve true transformation of economic development. For the services sector is also the case, the service sector is an important guarantee for a country TFP sustained and healthy development of the service sector, determines the quality and efficiency of services of long-term development. Therefore, China’s service industry has an important significance for how to achieve long-term development of high-quality services through decomposition and estimates of TFP, as a basis for research on how to promote long-term development of China’s service industry TFP.Taking the theory of economic growth, services theory, productivity theory, combined with statistical, econometric methods such as empirical research. Articles using nonparametric Malmquist-SBM index method China’s service industry TFP Measurement and Decomposition; TFP technical efficiency, scale efficiency of China’s provinces and autonomous regions of the measurement and analysis services; Improvement of non-DEA effective areas; research services Convergence and provincial services industry TFP growth convergence relationship; use of space panel Durbin model checking Factors China’s service industry total factor productivity. From a practical perspective, these analyzes to promote the transformation of the mode of development of the service industry, promote the coordinated development of the service area will provide a useful reference. There are five full chapters, as follows:The third chapter is China’s service industry Measurement and decomposition of TFP. This chapter of the service industry total factor productivity growth measure and decomposition method used in the SBM super-efficiency model. The main work of this chapter is a measure of Chinese provinces and autonomous regions and changes in the service industry trend of total factor productivity, and put it down as technology advances, pure technical efficiency change and scale efficiency change, examine the impact and trends of each part. The study found: 1994-2012, the average annual growth rate of China’s service industry TFP was 0.83%, the average level of technological progress growth rate of 2.4%-1.5% average growth rate of technical efficiency, technological progress is total factor services Productivity growth momentum. The fourth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of TFP Chinese service industry. First introduced on the basis of the factors affecting the introduction of the theory, choose the level of urbanization, marketization process, government control and opening four main indicators as variables that affect the service sector TFP. Then create spatial econometric model to determine spatial autocorrelation, spatial error model using spatial lag model or investigate the level of urbanization, the impact of market-oriented process, government control and opening of China’s service industry TFP. It was found that the process of marketization, urbanization and the opening of the services sector TFP promote the role of the government to control its increase there impediment. The fifth chapter is the conclusion and prospect research, policy recommendations based on empirical factors TFP result of provincial services, should make a fuss in the service sector to increase the degree of market reforms and promote structural reform and other aspects, such as to break the monopoly and introducing competition, the release of energy, the development of fair and uniform development policy areas to break the division, which is first and foremost the government’s own reform in exchange for the development of the market space. The main contribution of this study are the following:First, for the shortcomings of traditional DEA method, using SBM super efficiency model estimates the technical efficiency of Chinese provinces and regions services sector, which not only considers the relaxation problem inputs and outputs, but also to achieve further differentiate and effective decision-making units DEA Sort; the SBM super efficiency model combined with Malmquist Index measure the productivity growth of vegan Chinese provinces and composition services, make measure results more accurate and scientific.Secondly, the status quo of China’s service industry productivity level analysis, four assumptions proposition, using spatial Panel Data Model examines the process of marketization, urbanization level, government control and opening and other factors on Chinese provinces and autonomous regions full service factors affecting productivity, citing space panel model enriches the productivity research methods, in the new perspective on a study of productivity factors.Third, the factors introduced by classical theory and modern theory combination, introducing the level of urbanization, marketization process, government controls and opening up and other factors, China’s provinces and autonomous regions to explore its service sector growth and output per worker Trend of.
