Since the reform and opening up,China's economy has made remarkable achievements.Meanwhile, concept of develop,as GDP supreme in some regions, makes economy present such extensive development pattern as high investment, high energy consumption and high emissions.Along with such extensive development pattern, problems come with huge resource consumption, factor allocation inefficiency, all this make people worry the sustainability of economic growth.Due to resource and environment is not only an endogenous variable,is also rigid restraint of scale of economic growth. So,how to improve the efficiency of energy utilization, appears more urgent and important.Firstly, use the slacked based measure model measure total factor energy efficiency of 30 provinces in china during 2000 to 2014.after then, analysis the trend of total factor energy efficiency in every unit and the Spatial Differentiation of TFEE.From east to west,TFEE in the east present slowly rising trend On the whole, and almost always in the highest;TFEE between the west and middle area is almost similar, both presents the first decreases steadily increasing trend, but TFEE in the west is a little more than middle area.Secondly, use global malmquist-luenberger index to compose Chinese total factor productivity of energy from 2000 to 2014.Research shows that technological progress is the main factor to promote the growth of TFEE.Lastly, according to data belong to the six facors affecting efficiency, including economic development level, technical level, urbanization and the opening up level during the sample period, test spatial coherence, using the spatial econometric model to make empirical study.
