The knowledge employees are more and more concerned by enterprise and social with the age of knowledge-based comes. How to evaluate their performance more scientific and reasonable becomes the important problem of enterprise.Under this kind of background, this article summarizes the theory and methods of performance evaluation at first. Secondly, analyzes the characters of knowledge employees. Include the characters of knowledge employees:the characters of knowledge employees’ performance and the function of evaluate their performance.The focus of the paper is on the research object of Ningbo Steel Group, focusing on performance evaluation system, analysis the problems, and put forward the research objectives. Then use KPI method and job analysis, for the working characteristics of the knowledge employees, through the questionnaire survey and interviews to empirical test, build a new system of performance evaluation based on performance characteristics of knowledge employees. The new system is the important reference system of knowledge staff performance evaluation. The managers can choose the corresponding performance evaluation index system according to the performance characteristics of knowledge employees, so as to improve the effectiveness of performance assessment. In summary, this study has some validity and feasibility, and has some practical value for the research. |
