Eequity-based Crowdfunding is a new type of financing.With the use of Internet technology and group intelligence, equity-based crowdfunding can raising for the product or project form public. Eequity-based Crowdfunding born in the Internet era, with the development of the community, the share economy, and idle economic.Since the birth of the modern crowdfunding in 2009, crowdfunding have been developing quickly for many years in the developed countries, and soonly spread to the developing countries, including china. The rise of equity-based crowdfunding is thanks to its advantages compared with the traditional financing. For financer, equity-based crowdfunding breaks the limits of time and space,effectively fill the gap between micro-finance and professional institutional investor, provide low cost, convenient start-up capital for start-ups, solve the problem of financing micro enterprises. For Investors,they have a new investment method, small and medium investors have access to the equity investment. So, this raising pattern meet the needs of both capital suplliers and demanders,achieving a win-win situation. Therefore, equity-based crowdfunding platform has huge research value, this paper research on the equity-based crowdfunding platfor’s risk-prevention has practical significance.This paper based on the literature review,the operation mode and the profit mode, explored the risk of equity-based crowdfunding through the operation process. Analyzed the risks preventive measures and its drawbacks combined with the case of Renrentou platform. Through empirical research to explore the influence factors of the success or failure of crowdfunding, and get inspirations from it.Put forward some suggestions to improve the risk prevention based on the inspirations mentioned above.
