In recent years, "industrial revolution", "corporate governance" has always been the issues of concern from all walks of life, the banking industry in the national economy in the core position. In China, banking equity reform started earlier than other industries. So far, the reform of China’s banking industry has gone through nearly three stages, the effectiveness of the reform has become a hot topic among many scholars recently. The ownership structure is the key problem to be considered and solved in the process of improving corporate governance, which is the key problem to be considered and solved in the process of improving corporate governance through the four major mechanisms, which affect the performance of commercial banks from the deep level. This paper attempts to from the ownership concentration, equity balance degree and the property of ownership to explore the impact of ownership structure on the performance of China’s commercial banks. It is hoped that the three types of commercial banks can provide some reference to further optimize the ownership structure. In this paper, we regard the 16 commercial banks in our country as the research sample and the 2007-2014 as the study period, by the way of the qualitative analysis combined with quantitative analysis, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis to star our study. Firstly, I reviewed the relevant classical theory, and clearly put forward the special features of the Commercial Bank of China, secondly,Idescribed our country commercial bank ownership structure and performance status, which lay the foundation ofmaking suggestions, finally, I used panel data model for empirical analysis and put forward relevant suggestions. Empirical results show that between of the top ten shareholders of shareholding ratio and commercial banks operating performance comprehensive score exists the inverted "U"- type relationship; Z index does not have a significant impact on the business performance of the commercial bank comprehensive score; state-owned shares and foreign institutional shares have negative impact on China’s commercial banks to improve operating performance comprehensive scores and domestic corporate shares and tradable shares have positive influenceon China’s commercial banks to improve operatingperformancecomprehensive score. Therefore, thepaperthink that China’s commercial banks should optimizeownership structure from the aspects of ownership concentration and ownership property.
