A Comparative Study On Sorting Costs In Random And Polling Control Modes

With the rapid development of e-commerce and the practice of “The Supply Side Reform”, the market has the higher requirements and expectations to the rapid response of operation mechanism for logistics. More concerned about the cost researches in various fields has been directed by the "cost reduction" policy call. And the personalized demand of customers guides enterprises generally to use the business strategy of "close to the customer", depending on services to extend the value chain of commodities, for the core competitiveness of enterprises remodeling. The way to achieve the greatest profit both needs to rely on efficient sorting and distribution as the core of the circulation system.Currently, the sorting control mechanism assuming the task of sorting large-scale e-commerce application is limited to the Stochastic Control Mode in the distribution center, so the area is in the great need of application as new control mechanisms in the sorting picking system. Therefore, this article focuses on the new control mechanism of logistics field, especially in the specific application of the sorting areas, and selects the Exhaustive- Parallel Limited-1 second level polling control mechanism and Exhaustive- Parallel threshold second level polling control mechanism as the research objects, and forms the comparative analysis with the Stochastic Control Mode, combines with three order structures of the mixed allocation between the priority orders and common orders, priority order quantity larger than common ones quantity and priority orders quantity less than the common ones quantity, analyzes the relatively applicable sorting control mode for the minimize cost objectives under different situations. These conclusions play an important reference role in the actual distribution center operations, and also supplying a theory development and practical application value.
