Study On The Coupling And Coordinated Development Of Tourism Economy And Ecological Environment In

Ecological environment is the foundation of social development, carrying and restricting all aspects of social and economic development. Since the 1950 s, the global economy developed rapidly, at the same time, the contradiction between economic development and ecological environment are becoming prominent. The problems of ecological environment has become the focus of attention from all walks of life, our government at several levels also make ecological civilization as an important goal of economic and social development. As an important part of social and economic development, tourism has a strong associated leading role. After Second World War, tourism gains considerable development. However, its industrial characteristics of relying on resources and consumption of the environment are also more prominent. Therefore,the relationship between tourism economy and ecological environment and how to promote the coordinated development of the two issues have become the hot topic of discussion and research.The coastal city of Qingdao is the empirical analysis object in this thesis. The thesis collects and summarizes lots of research results about tourism economy and ecological environment as well as the relationships between them. The thesis makes the theory of sustainable development,tourism environmental science, synergetics and system theory as the guiding theory, expounding the mechanism of coordinated development of tourism economy and ecological environment.The thesis establishes 22 evaluation indexes including the tourism economy and the ecological environment of the two subsystems, and using the data of 2005-2014 in the city of Qingdao as the basis of the analysis. It also utilizes the method of coupling coordinated development evaluation model to analyze the coordinated development of tourism economy and ecological environment of Qingdao in the last 10 coupled years. Otherwise, it also makes some exploratory analysis about the relationship between tourism economy, ecological environment and overall coupling coordination as well as the future development trend of coupling coordinate system.According to the thesis, results show that: the tourism economy and ecological environment influence and interact on each other, and the coupling mechanism connotation is rich. Tourism economy and ecological environment continuous develop in mutual constraint and intimidation.In the continuous development of 2005-2014 in Qingdao, tourism economy fluctuates violently,but the overall is flourishing; small fluctuation of the ecological environment, but the frequency is obvious, the overall show a downward trend. The coordinated development level coupling of Qingdao’s tourism economy and ecological environment gradually improved within study period,but overall is still in the ecological environment lag type development stage, and the reserved space of ecological environment is gradually being eroded. The relationship between tourismeconomic coupled with the overall coordination is more specific and positive correlation trend is obvious. And it also makes higher contribution to the overall coupling coordinated development.By contrast, the ecological environment system is more complex, slightly lower overall contribution. But the prediction results based on the coordinated development index show that the confidence of Qingdao tourism economy and ecological environment coupling and coordination development prospect is quite satisfactory, the coupling relations gradually improved. In a certain extent it can enhance the confidence of tourism stakeholders. Based on this, this thesis puts forward some countermeasures are suggested to promote the development of the two coupling coordination, expecting to promote the coupling of tourism economy and ecological environment of Qingdao health coordinated development, contributing to the sustainable development of Qingdao tourism economy. The thesis is also expected to provide some reference for the development of other areas of tourism and ecological environment.
